Program Director & Head 17u Coach
Troy Beverly
Coach Troy Beverly enters his thirteenth season with Team Industry Basketball as Program Director of Basketball Operations and the current 17u Head Coach. Beverly spent six seasons as the 17u Head Coach, two seasons as the 14u Coach, one season as 16u Coach and one season as the 15u Coach.
​
During the 2023 season, Beverly's 16u team finished with a record of 21-8 which included two championships at the Focus Basketball Spring Showcase (Garden Grove, CA) and the PTBA Summertime Classic (La Puente, CA). Beverly's 16u team also finished runner ups in the 2023 Jam On It Grand Finale (Las Vegas, NV). Beverly's 16u team became only the fourth team in program history to finish with a 20 win season and the first to finish with single digit losses.
After a two year absence, Beverly returned to the sidelines as the 15u coach during the 2022 season. Beverly finished the 2022 season with a 14-14 record and guided the 15u team to two championships. Of those two championships included the PTBA Spring Showcase (La Puente, CA) and the San Diego Sol Memorial Day Invitational (San Diego, CA). Beverly's 15u team also made two semi-final appearances in the DBC Invitational (Palm Springs, CA) and the Open Gym Premier Spring Hoopfest (Anaheim, CA).
In 2019, Beverly returned to the level in which he started his coaching career....the 14u level. In his return Beverly guided his 14u team to a semi-final appearances in the 2019 Swoosh Spring Invitational (Garden Grove, CA) and the 2019 Prime Time Summer Tune Up (La Puente, CA).

In his final season as 17u Head Coach in 2017, Beverly led his team to a fifth consecutive winning season with an overall record of 18-11. With these 18 wins included, an Elite 8 appearance in the 2017 Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic, a 2017 Swoosh Father's Day Summer Splash Championship, and runner-ups in the 2017 ARC Duel In The Desert (Palm Springs, CA) and the Swoosh Ultimate Showcase. The 2017 team also ended the tenure of Beverly's longest active program participants Jason Reyes, Andres Flores, Daniel Felix and Cameron Caterio whom all played in the 17u division since middle school.

In 2016, Beverly led his team to a fourth consecutive winning season with an overall record of 17-10. In addition of another consecutive winning season, Beverly's 17u team also brought home two championships at the 2016 Swoosh Summerslam and the 2016 SNU Showtime & JW Basketball Father's Day Classic. The 17's also finished as the runner ups in the 2016 ARC San Diego Memorial Invitational (San Diego, CA) and finished in their second consecutive sweet 16 appearance at the Fab 48 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
2015 saw Beverly's most talented team to date despite finishing with an overall record of 25-15. Of the 25 wins came three championships including the NBN Winner Take All Tournament, SNU Showtime & JW Basketball Father's Day Classic, and the NBN Bring The Noise Tournament. In addition to three championships, the 17u team finished with three semi-final appearances in the ARC Duel In The Desert (Palm Springs, CA), the Open Gym Premier Spring Kickoff (Anaheim, CA), and the Pangos Sweet 16 (Garden Grove, CA). Team Industry 17u also finished with a Sweet 16 appearance in the prestigious Fab 48 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In 2014, Beverly led his most successful 17u team to date with an overall record of 27-11 finishing the year with five championships and three semi-final appearances in the ARC San Diego Memorial Invitational (San Diego, CA), the Swoosh Labor Day Classic (Garden Grove, CA) and the Swoosh/Las Vegas Hoops National Championships (Las Vegas, NV). Of those five championships included the ARC Duel In The Desert (Palm Springs, CA), NBN Winner Take All, NBN Post-Memorial Day, NBN Showtime, and NBN Bring The Noise Tournament Championship.
In 2013, Beverly's 17u team had an overall record of 22-11 finishing with a winning record in 80 percent of the tournaments played in. Of those 22 wins came a 2013 NBN Showtime Tournament Championship, five second place finishes in NBN and Swoosh Basketball Tournaments, and top five finishes in the ARC Duel In the Desert (Palm Springs, CA) and the San Diego Memorial Invitational (San Diego, CA).
Beverly has also seen success with the 14u team guiding them to a 7-2 season and their first NBN Spring League Championship in 2011.
In 2013, Beverly received his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Cal Poly Pomona. In 2016 earned his Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University and is currently earning his second Master's Degree and Teaching Credential specialized in Special Education from National University.
Beverly is a firm believer of having a structured and disciplined program in hopes to prepare his players both athletically and academically for the collegiate level.

Lady Industry Coach Juan Covarrubias
Coach Juan Covarrubias enters his seventh year with the program and second year as head coach for Lady Industry

The 2023 season saw Covarrubias in a new spotlight in Team Industry as the Head Coach for the girls division. Covarrubias led Lady Industry to their first championship at the 626ers Summertime Splash (Covina, CA). In addition, Lady Industry finished in the third place game at the Jam On It Grand Finale (Las Vegas, NV)
In 2022, Covarrubias took over the 16u team in which they had a strong showings early on the in season at the 2022 Swoosh March Madness Tournament as well as the PTBA Spring Showcase and PTBA Mother's Day Shootout.
In 2019, Coavarrubias had a brief stint with the 17u team before ending the season early. However, Covarrubias' 17u team had strong showings in the 2019 Swoosh April Madness and the 2019 West Coast Elite Spring Tip-Off.

In 2018, Covarrubias gave his first test run to the 17u team led by his brother Jared and Bassett guard Ben Bui. Along the way, Coach Juan led the team to a 2nd Place finish at the 2018 Mercadel Spring Fling Showcase. In addition led the team to two semi-final appearances including the 2018 AVAC Cinco De Mayo State Qualifier (Cerritos, CA) and the 2018 AVAC Memorial Day Classic (Garden Grove, CA).

2017 saw the rise of young Juan Covarrubias at the coaching helm as his 15u team brought home two championships including the 2017 Mercadel Memorial Day Showcase Championship and the 2017 Swoosh Ultimate Showcase Championship. Covarrubias' 15u team also finished as runner ups in the 2017 Swoosh Father's Day Summer Splash.

In 2016, Covarrubias led his much improved 14u team to two second place finishes at the Focus Basketball & AVAC Hoyas Kyree Brown Invitational (Garden Grove, CA) and the 2016 Swoosh Summerslam (Orange, CA). In addition to two second place finishes, the 14's finished 2-0 at the Team Industry Basketball Spring Shootout.

In 2015, Covarrubias led the 14u team team to one second place finish in the Swoosh Cinco De Mayo Extravaganza (Costa Mesa, CA) and a semi-final appearance at the Swoosh Ultimate Showcase (Garden Grove, CA). In the late summer sessions, Covarrubias coached the inaugural 15u team and guided them to one championship at the NBN Bring The Noise Tournament (Upland, CA).
In the fall of 2014, Covarrubias served as the Associate Head Coach for the 14u Fall team in which he helped guide them to a Swoosh Fall Classic Championship.
Covarrubias first joined Team Industry Basketball back in 2010 as a member of the 14u team under the leadership of Ron Atmore. Covarrubias returned to play for Coach Beverly in 2013 where he later served as a captain for the 2014 17u team. Covarrubias was a key member of both 2013-2014 teams as he was a two year starter and had a career average of 4.6 points a game. Covarrubias also provided Team Industry excellent on-ball defense as he was one of the best defensive players on the team.

Covarrubias currently serves as the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach for his alma mater Bassett High School. Coavarrubias' previous positions at Bassett included Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Freshman Coach.

Head 16u Coach Dylan Grajeda
Coach Dylan Grajeda enters his third year with Team Industry Basketball and first year as Head 16u coach.
​
In 2023, Grajeda continued with Coach Troy Beverly's 16u team guiding them to two championships. Those two championships included the 2023 Focus Basketball Spring Showcase and the 2023 PTBA Summertime Classic.
​
In 2022, Grajeda joined the coaching staff as assistant coach to Coach Troy Beverly's 15u team. In that year Grajeda help guide the 15u team to two championships at the PTBA Spring Showcase and San Diego Sol Memorial Day Invitational.
Grajeda joined Team Industry in 2017 as a Freshmen playing for Coach Troy Beverly's final 17u team. Grajeda served as a key member of that team in which he had went from deep in the rotation to a starter. Key performances included the Swoosh Summerslam in Santa Barbara, the 2017 Swoosh Father's Day Classic, and the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic.

Grajeda graduated from Glen A. Wilson High School in 2020 and is currently enrolled at Mt. San Antonio College. Grajeda currently serves as the Junior Varsity Coach at West Covina High School.

Coach Quenton Harvey
Coach Quenton Harvey enters his third year as 17u Coach for Team Industry Basketball

During the 2023 season, Coach Q led the 17u team to another successful season winning the PTBA Summertime Classic (La Puente, CA) and finished as runner ups in the 2023 Jam On It Grand Finale (Las Vegas, NV). In addition, Coach Q's 17u team had a strong showing at the 2023 San Diego Memorial Invitational (San Diego, CA).
​
In his first official season, Coach Q led the 17u Elite team to a 17-12 record during the 2022 season. Of those 17 wins came two championships at the PTBA Spring Showcase (La Puente, CA) and the Swoosh World Championships (Fullerton, CA). In addition, Coach Q's led his team to a third place finish in the silver bracket at the 2022 Jam On it Grand Finale (Las Vegas, NV) and two quarter final appearances at the DBC Invitational (Palm Springs, CA) and the LA Elite March Showdown (Carson, CA). ​
Originally introduced as the 17u White Coach during the 2020 season, Coach Q's involvement that season was short lived due to the pandemic.
​
While not coaching with Team Industry Basketball, Coach Q currently serves as the Assistant Varsity Coach for Northview High School. Coach Q also has experiences coaching at West Covina High School and Compton Centennial High School. In addition, Coach Q's playing experience includes Division I Utah State and at the Junior College level Compton College.
